The short-stay pre-university Spanish courses are adapted to the students’ language level. In addition to the Spanish foreign language classes, they include other subjects in Spanish, immersion classes, activities on school grounds and cultural excursions. Teachers specialized in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language to speakers of other languages create dynamic classes focusing on different aspects of Spanish and Latin American culture.
Through custom-made projects and materials with texts, songs, and illustrated stories, we explain various general themes: professions, animals, food, travel, love… and as we believe in the need for grammar, we adapt the explanations to the native language of each speaker. We are careful to spend time on the most important communicative grammatical features, like morphological derivation and composition or the syntax, but restricting ourselves to the essential concepts for achieving competence in the language (values of “se”, verb tenses…).
